About me

My dad being a rally driver and watching WRC with him since I was little, I grow up a little bit in this world. I wasn't going to watch him race every time. In fact, only three or four times a year, but it changed rapidly.

After watching my first formula one race in 2020, the Turkish GP, where Lewis won his seventh championship, I got totally addicted to this sport.

Living really quickly my first IRL events (WRC Ypres 2021, Spa Grand Prix 2021, Barcelona Winter Testings 2022, Spa Grand Prix 2022 and Monza 2022), I started my Instagram account to share with motorsports fans my adventures.

On this blog, I give you some of my opinions, I try to resume the races, I also share my experiences at some motorsports events.

Fav f1 drivers and f1 teams

When I started to watch formula 1, my favorites drivers were Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. Max because I loved him in the first race I watched ! Even if it was a little bit chaos with the rain, and he spun a lot, I don't know. I saw something in his driving. For Charles, I liked him in drive to survive, yup no judgement. However, when the 2021 season started, I finally saw than Charles wasn't my kind of driver. To aggressive, not regular enough... I still love him but outside of the track but on it, I can't.

If you follow me on my Instagram, you know than now, Lando is my favorite driver. Both on the track and outside of it, Lando marked me. I started to watch f1 in a difficult moment. Lando helped me so much speaking up about mental health. Even if I'm not totally out of this mindset, it improved. He is also so kind with his fans, one of the kindest on the grid ! Always smiley, down on earth. 

Then on second position, there is Carlos. The boy seems sometimes cold, but I can tell you if you take your time with him, he can really be amazing ! He is always working, trying his best. I love his dad and his determination. Seeing him win in Silverstone was amazing !

On the team side, at the beginning I was routing for RedBull, just because of Max. Then my opinion changed thanks to their mentality. I don't really like how they treat their second driver. That's why when I started to cheer for Lando, I started to cheer for his team too. I was seeing McLaren like a big family, more healthy but I need to admit since hat happened with Daniel, I don't think the same thing anymore. But they are still my favorite team.

And I have a second one in my heart : Williams. I really like British teams, that's maybe why, but I think it's more about they story. Build a f1 team in family is an amazing one ! I was behind George when he was still there, then when Alex came back I was, and I am, rooting for him, I love the guy and his driving style !

Fav WRC drivers and team

Starting to watch rally very young, I wasn't really able to make my own opinion. I was cheering for Thierry Neuville and Hyundai because he is Belgian. Even if I still like him, he isn't in my top three now. In first position you can find Kalle Rovanpera. I love the man, his driving his absolutely incredible. I see him like an alien. Then behind him, there is the French driver Pierre-Louis Loubet. Even if he hadn't done all the race last year, and he couldn't do the pre event tests, I found him really steady. He did only a few mistakes but nothing too serious. And I would go for Ott Tanak as my third favorite driver. Even if he isn't the kindest of all the drivers, I love his sense of humor. He is kinda awkward with his fans, but yeah I can understand him. He is driving because he likes it, not because he wants fame. And that's the same for each driver in every motorsport category. Anyway !

M-Sport is my favorite team. First of all, I love the livery ! Even if the car isn't the most reliable, it can still be fast (we saw it last year with Sebastien Loeb in the Monte-Carlo). But, last year this purple with some electric line was amazing, and the blue this year looks incredible !

Fav F2 and F3 drivers

Watch F1 is nice, but actually, f2 and f3 are way more fun ! Every car is the same : the engine, the chassis,... The only things changing are the team and the drivers. But that's an other subject.

So if we start in F2, I'm rooting for almost half the grid ! To begin with the French drivers : Théo Pourchaire, Victor Martins, Clément Novalak and Isack Hadjar. I was already behind Théo last year, I even have a fan page about him with one of my friends (not really active I need to admit). I really like the person he is, and he always says interesting things ! Last season, he commented two races with the Belgian commentator Gaetan Vigneron and all his interventions were relevant. And there was Clément, even if the start of his f2 career wasn't the easiest, his podium around the end of the season made me so happy ! If you know Screaming Meals, you also know him. This man is one of the funniest on this planet ! Victor has been one of my best meeting in the motorsport world. He is so humble and really kind. And furthermore he is so talented ! Probably one of the next french f1 driver ! And Isack by being French and brilliant took a little place between the others in my heart. I want to tell you that's all, but it's not. My favorite of all is without doubt Ollie Bearman. I see this guy as a really well-endowed, educated, kind man. His reaction after the last race in Monza was heartbreaking. Then there is Juan Manuel Correa. Because of his story and his journey after his big crash, I really like him. He never gave up, had always the smile. Indeed, he inspires me. And with all of them, there are still drivers I like, like Frederic Vesti, Arthur Leclerc of course, Enzo Fittipaldi and Dennis Hauger. I'll stop here, because that's already way too much ! However one thing is sure, I won't be sad after a race, because there will always be one on the podium !

I will be cheering for Dino Beganovic, Paul Aron and Seb Montoya next season. I was watching their results in their category from far away last year because I didn't have the time to watch FRECA. It will be a pleasure to see their progression and learn more about them in this championship !
